This design integrates our existing moss pole design into a lightweight, shelled out planter, giving the moss pole an anchor point that will remain perpendicular no matter which way your plant decides to lean. The pot floor is an open mesh, allowing all the excess water to flow freely into the cache vessel, and allowing the water from the vessel to permeate the substrate; the walls of the pot also have thin slits to speed up flow that way.
The cache vessel is designed to provide a solid base, with 6 rubber feet to improve stability and prevent slipping.

100% renewable, bio-sourced PLA
SustainabilityAll our moss poles are made of PLA, a 100% bio-sourced plastic made of renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane. PLA is also biodegradable and it can be composted.
I’ve just done the long overdue chop on my Philodendron Splindid, which also means that I can finally switch from an unstable plant pot to a solid base in the form of the SemiHydro Planter. I’m not semihydro, but the solid base is just what I need for suck a tall plant. I won’t be as scared to move it now!

How do moss poles help your plants thrive?
Let your plants grow bigger, faster and healthier, imitating their natural habitat.
